PATHETIC HR INTERVIEWERS (my experience )
Hi Friends,
There is a lot of difference between a stress interview and trash interview.
In a stress interview, the interviewer is just concerned about how you react in a stressful situation and how you handle pressure.Later he/she will help you to understand.
But in a trash interview the interviewer doesn't like you (reason can be anything)
One of my interviews with a reputed FMCG company.
I cleared 2 rounds and the 3rd one was with the HR, all were face to face.
This HR after going through my resume
HR: you have not done anything great ?
Myself: Great ??
HR: nothing in your resume is great.like you are not from Harvard or Stanford?? Just from one of the IIM 's
I was a bit confused
HR: Expected CTC
Myself: X amount
HR: our profile is only half of that, my entire team has communicated to you wrongly.
Usually I attend my interview only after I confirm my min ctc, so she made fun of her whole team.
I still explained everything in a calm way. But one thing I was sure nothing went into her head.
This made me very disappointed.So I just searched her profile in Linked in , She was from tire 2 college and been working for the same company for 9 years after her MBA, still in Dpt. Manager position. Had the worst growth in her career. She was not being promoted for last 2 years and didn't have the capacity to change her company.
So I just felt pity for her being in that state.
What I realized was the culture of that company,as they didn't have the common sense. For asking a Dpt. manager to interview for the role of Sr. manager position. She neither had the capacity or the maturity to handle talented candidates now the company has lost an opportunity.
I have blacklisted that company.
So friends, please don't allow such people to destroy your confidence. when an interview didn't go well, the fault need not necessarily lie with you.
Other side can be complete nonsense.
SO RELAX !!!
For the HR:
Dear HR people,
If you come across this, don't feel bad. I can help you, if you are struggling with your growth. Just because you are not able to grow or get paid well don't throw your tantrums on poor candidates.
HOPE YOU GUYS UNDERSTAND!!
